It’s summer, so the constant churn of road construction is part of the Michigan experience. There’s a pair of one-lane situations you should know about for your weekend travels. Northbound I-75 At I-696 Will Have Just One Lane Open This Weekend

Just got word in our inboxes this morning that Northbound I-75 will be going down to one lane between I-696 and 12 Mile near the Royal Oak and Madison Heights border. I-696 Construction Switches Sides And Starts Again Thursday Night

I-696 commuters are used to headaches, and here’s a quick update on one coming your way shortly. From July 7 – July 25, as part of the ongoing I-275 project, I-696 is being repaired between the I-275/I-96/M-5 interchange and Lahser Road. Previously, westbound I-696 was repaired.
