Detroit Gets $2 Million Grant To Design The New 26 Mile Inner Circle Greenway

Today comes news that a $2 million grant was given to City of Detroit by the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation. The grant will be used to fund the design and pre-construction of all uncompleted portions of the Inner Circle Greenway (ICG), including a recently purchased Conrail railroad property, connecting together a  26 mile non-motorized path and greenway. Detroit Greenways Coalition Gets Grant To Build Support For Greenway Segment In Highland Park

In support of overall plans to create a 26 mile loop trail through Detroit, Hamtramck, Highland Park and Dearborn called the Inner Circle Greenway, the nonprofit Detroit Greenways Coalition received a $5,000 grant from the Doppelt Family Trail Development Fund.
