Sam Shapiro, their Founder and CEO, tells the story of how the company was created during the pandemic after a cross-country road trip in a custom-built camper van.

Starting in a parking lot with a tent, they now have a 13,000 sq. ft. facility where the company designs and manufactures modular electric vans for a variety of use cases including camper vans, mobile medical, mobile dental, pet grooming, and mobile offices.

In the conversation, we get into why they chose Detroit, the connections to Michigan Central, and how they see the city as a hardware startup hub.
