After a five month build out, Estia Greek Street Food is expecting to open its Warren location on Monday, October 1.
The Greek fast-casual restaurant will be located at Twelve Mile and Mound Road.
The 3,000 square foot, 90-seat restaurant with a 24-seat patio was built from reclaimed materials from around the Detroit metro region.
“Both Paul and I grew up in this area and there are no words to describe how exciting it is to open up a restaurant here,” owner George Xenos said. “We look forward to serving the good people of Warren and beyond the food that we grew up eating.”
The menu includes handmade pita bread, gyros and Greek salads. The restaurant will also have two serving lines to insure that diners will be able to get their food quickly.
As part of the opening day festivities the first 50 people in line for opening day will get a gyro a week for an entire year.
The locally-owned Estia Greek Street Food also has a location in Troy.
The Warren location will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
