Startup Grind with Stacy Brown-Philpot, CEO of TaskRabbit 

Startup Grind will be hosting a fireside chat and Q&A session with Stacy Brown-Philpot the CEO of TaskRabbit on Wednesday night.

Brown-Philpot is an expert in building and scaling large, mission-minded organizations.

Detroit Young Professionals Holiday Party at Lululemon

Looking to get together with other young professionals to celebrate the holidays?

The Detroit Young Professionals will be hosting their Holiday Party at Lululemon on Wednesday night.

Bring your business cards because there will be raffles for some pretty great prizes.

There will be hors d’oeuvres from Gourmet Gone Wild, plus wine and beer.

IT in the D December Charity Event + Podcaster Meet Up

The fellas over at IT in the D know how to throw a get together, and this month is no exception.

Not only will there be networking but there will also be a podcaster meet up. So if you have ever wanted to find out about podcasting this is the perfect time to talk to other people who have shows.

The cherry on the top is that you can do some good by helping the Urban Benedictine Community by bringing unwrapped toys ($10 or under) or money. The money being raised will go towards running a house that provides temporary shelter for women and children.

Be Heard: Public Speaking Workshop

Need some help with public speaking? If so, we’ve got just the thing for you.

Eric Thomas who’s one of the more brilliant and authentic storytellers around town will be hosting a public speaking workshop on December 9.

The workshop will give people the tips and tricks to become a stronger public speaker.

The three hour workshop will walk you through structuring your story, vocal presentation, identity, and how to design your visual presentation.

Tickets for the workshop range from $100 to $150.

2017 MICHauto Summit: A Conversation on Culture & Careers
