GM Unveils 2 eBikes, Wants Suggestions For Names

General Motors is branching into e-bikes. The company has unveiled images of what it calls “innovative, integrated and connected eBikes” that it says will go on sale in 2019. Five Metro Area Nonprofits Receive $50,000 In Grants From Two GM Assembly Plants

The General Motors Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Center and Brownstown Battery Assembly Plant awarded $50,000 in grants to five metro Detroit nonprofit organizations committed to community development, environmental cleanup and educational programs. 2,500 General Motors Employees To Volunteer In Detroit's Cody Rouge Neighborhood This August

The week of August 15 in the Cody Rouge neighborhood is going to see a ton of volunteers descend upon multiple projects. 2,500 General Motors employees have signed up and will donate their time to board up vacant homes, clean empty lots, spruce up streets and tackle other neighborhood and school improvements. Karmanos Cancer Institute Raises $2.8 Million, Creates 24-Hour Clinic

The Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute raised more than $2.8 million at its 33rd Annual Dinner, held April 25 at General Motors Design Dome. This year’s dinner set new fundraising records for Karmanos, making it one of Detroit’s most successful events.
