Mae's In Pleasant Ridge Sold, To Be Closed For Brief Time For Renovations
The Woodward corridor neighborhood favorite Mae’s (which we’ve written before about here) has been sold. The new owners are Valter and Elda Xhomaqi, who own Birmingham brunch spot The Whistle Stop and Double EE Restaurant in Ferndale. Those who will miss the creativity behind such hits as Mae’s Cap’N Crunch chicken tenders, will hopefully appreciate the Xhomaqi’s unique style.
