Detroit Pistons To Wear Flagstar Bank Logos On Their Jerseys

It was only a matter of time until the some of the major four sports teams started wearing corporate sponsor logos on their jerseys beyond the maker of the clothing, and Detroit has joined the likes of Brooklyn, Cleveland, Toronto and others by signing a sponsorship deal. The Detroit Pistons signed a deal with Flagstar Bank for an undisclosed amount of money to wear their logo on the right chest of their new Nike jerseys, as well as advertise on local radio and in the new Little Caesars Arena....

Report: "The Pistons Will Probably Be Gone" To Downtown Detroit Says Oakland County Exec

It looks like we’re even closer to the Detroit Pistons moving to the new arena that’s rising on Woodward in downtown Detroit. Crain’s Detroit Business is reporting that Detroit Pistons officials asked Oakland County to buy the Palace of Auburn Hills, where the Detroit Pistons play, in a $384 million buy-lease-back deal to the team. This is just plain pretty cool to watch. Yeah, we’re a little slow on the uptake and it’s not the most important story in the world but it is really neat to see.
